The Foxhole Pickin' Party is a week long event in the Catskill region of New York that leads up to the gate opening of the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival .  The location of the pre-festival party is the beautiful Allan Farm in Preston Hollow, NY - affectionately referred to as "The Foxhole".  Hundreds of musicians and bluegrass lovers gather to celebrate old and new friendships and enjoy the incredible beauty of the area.

Dear Elsie,
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate you making myself and a few hundred of my nutty friends feel so welcome on the beautiful Allan Farm. Your generosity makes Grey Fox a possibility for me.  Taking the 8 hour drive from Cleveland for a 4 day festival would be a bit much.
